Re:t25 fully boosted misconception
thats what it is, I remembered when I put the turbo on, if I opened and closed the wstegate by hand, sometimes it would stick open just a little bit, I thought that with the actuator, it would pull is shut easier though. Hum...any ideas on it. It almost like sticks open like 1/4 way.

Also, even a tiny ass exahsut leak pre-turbo will ---- up your spool time. Fix that ----. :P __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
Re:t25 fully boosted misconception
I have a small IHI, it started acting like yours, I would have to floor it and I'd be lucky to make full boost by redline, I went over all my bolts and found two of the four bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold just slightly loose, I tightened them up and it fixed my problem, so don't count out that small hole as the source of your problem.
I'm hitting full boost now by 3500 or so, and it holds it all the way to 7500. Neil |
