T-Mobile G1 (google phone)

So I picked up this phone on Friday and I really like. I was looking at either this(G1) or the Behold if I stayed with t-mobile. Or even the blackberry storm or iphone if I switched service provider.

After looking at and playing around with all the phones I realized that I didn't like the fact that I wouldn't have a keyboard. I like the touch screen and everything, but I just didn't like how easy it was to make mistakes.

My question is of the 4 phones I spoke of which one do you like?

I own a blackberry (not the storm) and i have sold and used a few iphones....i much prefer the blackberry. I find it much more robust and i prefer the navigation etc. However the iphone i personally feel is more multimedia oriented although the storm will probably level the difference between the iphone and the older blackberry i still vote for the Berry!

iphone = overpriced plan but awesome phone and support, "average" battery life

behold = no wifi, no true web browswer, no app's, no internal memory

g1 = ugly as ---- and "glitchy" when i used it (slow processor or to demanding of an OS), shitty battery time, no internal memory (micro sd only)

storm = teh new hotness. havent had a chance to play with this phone, but from all reviews I have seen, its on par with the iphone and since its a blackberry, you cant really go wrong with the support because it will be there.

Iphone= paper weight if battery dies, which it will.
Behold= Over price worth less phone.
G1= soild phone, just kinda big.
Storm= The best phone to come out in a long time.

BTW I sell phones for a living and have play a LOT with all 4, Storm> all us phones at this point.

Oh yeah question for the other G1 people on here. I'm having a hard time sending music to my phone from my desktop(7 year old Dell CRAP). I did the whole mount the drive and everything on the phone, but windows media keeps saying it can't find the file. Should I not be using windows media player to sync the music?

Also G1 has multiple window web browsing which is incredible!

only thing i will disagree with is the paper weight thing for the iphone (2g specifically). it can be replaced quite easily. i dont know about the 3g though, i am sure its more difficult, but i am sure its possible to change the battery.

the g1 is "solid" of course, but it is glichy IMO. everytime i have played with the G1, its slow to respond to my touch and is quite jumpy in the movements when it does respond. i am sure a firmware update will resolve many of the issues the G1 has....

but its still ugly as ----

touch screen on the storm is as shitty as the motorola ones, its slow & buggy.
google phone is cool but looks about as nice as when my dog takes a ---- after eating a tube of oragel
N95/96 > iphone > dare > other stuff.

I have a crackberry curve and i very much enjoy it.
I got it because
1. Didnt want to wait for the Storm.
2. I hate touch screens.

I have a Blackberry Curve, love the phone. I was going to buy a Storm outright but I went to the store, played with it, and now I don't like it. Good ideas by Blackberry but I think that they pushed it out to fast for christmas. Its full of bugs, Ill wait untill the price comes down and they work out the many flaws that it has. The thing is slow as balls, I'd get the G1 or the 3G iPhone if I could get reliable service with something other than Verizon out here in nowhereville

I love my G1, especially now that I have it tethered to my laptop. I'm in downtown seattle stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on my laptop... reading HMT of course.
