A/T --> M/T conversion on B18A1
I have a 1993 teggy and want to turbo charge it. I have the manual tranny from a 92 ls and I want to know what parts I will need and the difficulty level of a prloject like this. Also if you guys know n e one in new england that will do these conversions for cheap. Thank you

I've seen an article on H-T about it, it doesn't go into full detail but gives you the basic direction.
I'm thinking cable tranny, mounts, linkage, clutch pedal assembly, shifter and ----. Best thing is to have a donor car since it will take a lot of small parts. I have an a/t integra, would be turbo if it was manual right now.. oh well just gonna dump it.
you can use the auto ecu, you'll just get a CEL all the time.. it will run.

Do a search on here for 'auto to manual conversion'. I originally was going to do this on the civic I bought and asked this same question, but I decided to buy a del sol that was already manual and had the b-series already in it. Onyx replied with some great help and some pics. If I remember corrctly the biggest problem is the moving of the tranny-to-chassis mount. I may still have the linked saved, I'll look and if I do I'll post it for you.
Listen to Quadnie...the donor car is definitely the way to go for that swap. All those little things add up quick. And unless you have no job and unlimited time it won't be done that fast.

Most of the time it's just easier to start over with a manual car, maybe one that's in better condition then your automatic car.. maybe one with a blown motor that you can swap parts over to?
I know you can get very attached to certain cars, but just consider the fabrication involved with that swap.. and if not fabrication then consider the jacked up pricing on mounts and relocation bullshit (retail).

see... I basically do have the donor car. I will have the tranny, I will ahve the shift linkage, the ecu, the clutch petal assembly, and the entire center console off of another ls integra. I dont see why this is going to be so hard that I have to get rid of my baby. what else do I need??
