Re:sweet truck
but the question is it a production car?
|
Re:sweet truck
sonomas aren't prodcution cars?
and i'll answer your next post before you post it. the Esclade would hardly be considered a production car if the sonoma isn't because the 427 in it is a small block corvette racing engine :) another sweet truck is the gmc cyclones they're pretty coo i'd like to have one |
Re:sweet truck
so u saying u can go to a dealership and ask for an option on a sonoma tht runs 10's flat? i dunno man u should go pick up a car& driver magazine its got all the ---- in there. its like a saleen is to a mustang and Lingenfelter isto Esclade and other GM

Re:sweet truck
i'm sure if you asked lingenfelter to make you a sonoma they would.
but i know what you're saying. this sonoma was 1995 i think |
Re:sweet truck
another thing. saleen mustangs are made at the ford factory i believe. lpe has there own place. so you have to go to the dealership. ask for a vette. then the dealership will send THAT vette to lpe and they will do their buisness with it. i don't think its that way with saleens. they're made at the same factory as gts and svts just to different specs.

Re:sweet truck
okay i was close but i thought tht saleen is the last name of the owner of saleen. so it has to be 2 companies into 1. i dunno i dont wanna argue no more
|
Re:sweet truck
yeah mr saleen has his own company. but i think he pretty much just licenses his name out to that car. i don't think they have anything to do with the production of the saleen mustang. except maybe in the specs of the car.
we're not arguing just talking :) |
