Sweet Shifters...
 

Alright, well like 5 months ago I wanted a new shift knob and I picked up a mini coors light tap handle. It was about 7 inches long and a little thicker than a thumb. It was some sweet ----.... unfortunately it broke in about 4 days because it was wood...

I'm wondering if you guys either had any other entertaining ideas for shifters or knew of any plastic tap handles?

saw someone take the rod out of a shorty screwdriver and drill a hole through it and use that. kind of a neat idea.

ha.. wonderful ideas.... ya, I was at a drift event, and there was an orange corolla with snap on screwdrivers for the shifter and e-brake. that might be fun

not rice... I just don't have a stock shifter any more because it got all fucked up... all I have right now is a shitty ebay one which is gay as hell... just looking for something a little more amusing if im going to get rid of this one

i think so far the screwdriver is winning..... dildo second but i don't know if i could pull off having a dildo for a shift knob

if i wanted to do a tap handle again I could probably just drill all the way down the hole and reinforce it with a metal rod.. that might work.

it took me a couple golf balls, one was made of rubber strands that sqeezed out when i drilled a hole in it. you need one with a hard plastic core

i've got a buddy with an old jeep...he put on one of those old beer dispenser handles onto his shifter :y

I ordered handles to do that (replacement handles are like $5 each). I even went for the baller soft grips, then I saw that car at formula D and decided against it.

i did this, it was alright. but it was on a 4x4 toyota shifter, about a 9-10" shift throw

cut your nuts off and work it on to the shifter then it will be lilke a stress relief squishy ball as your shifter except its your ACTUAL nut sack
