Swapping in a RB25det

Hey, what's up people. Well today i purchased my first RB25DET clip from gspeedcorp.com. the white one if you decide to look it up. I'm not saying how much. He's a personal friend of mine and i promissed not to say (really cheap). I bought a 91 240 coupe. I'm not new to the motor swap, but new to the rb. I need info on the complete install, but mainly the wiring. I'm gonna start on it tomorrow morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will post up a complete review with pictures everyday. Oh, by the way, from my earlier post about going to japan and buying a few skylines, well it's too fucken hard and tooooo much money. So, I'm building one and selling it. If it's profitable I gonna build four more and then build myself a rb26...

why didn't you just get the rb26 to begin with, if you can get a kick ass deal anyway?

Re: Swapping in a RB25det

there was a big issue with that. I actually almost bought that clip. But, the issue was that i had to drop the rb26 awd trans to a rb25 and convert to a single turbo. I need major fab to make it all fit. i don't have the knowledge for that yet. I don't wan't to pay anybody to do it for me, considering that i wan't to build to sell. to answer your question, i should of. and i will.

rb26 awd trans don't sell. I don't wan't to be stuck with it nor the owner. If i buy the clip i'm stuck with the trans and i would have to buy another one.
