k20 - = k hype. tpoo much money for nowhere near the hp .

forged internals in a ls. would be cheaper and pound the ---- out of k20 anything

that's true. until the price for a K-swap comes below the price of a stock RSX (if you think about it.. for an extra couple G's you can get a RSX rather than just the motor) i don't think they will be very common. although i wouldn't be surprised if they were sometime next year.

I'd wait 5 years and then start to consider K series swaps when the price becomes reasonable.

Either way my car is getting turbo'd. Just with the swap it'll be later down the road. I was just wondering if the swap would be worth the torque difference?

I would swap it first....Makes no sense spending money on that d17...no one wants the engine and it doesn't have as much if any aftermarket support.

If you have the cash swap the K in first, and after that build the turbo kit...

K's are only gay because of their price right now....But it is coming down....There's a shop here that sells the engine/tranny combo for around $2500....

the money is in the mounts, the electronics and all the little things needed....

as they keep coming down they will become more and more popular.
