swap time? ***EDIT

how long do you think it would take to swap in a multi point d series into a std hatch. and whats all involved

putting the block in wireing harness and ecu. or what else am i going to need.

*** edit ***
can you take a multipoint intake manifold and put it on the dual port motor if you use the wiring harness out of the multi and the ecu?

Re:swap time?

a proffesional mechanic could do it in a day and a half or less, 8 hour work day. a novice diy could take 3, 8 hour days not having the proper lifts and all the ghettoness that goes along with not haveing enough experience.

3 8 hour work days :-X maybe if i was drunk all 3 days.

ive done toyota motors in a day. but i havent realy ever worked on any hondas but my dads and its never broken anything yet :-X only thing ive ever had to fix on his car is the rad and alt.

someone here droped a block out with out using a lift or anything and it seemed like he had it in in a day.

i just wanted to hear from people who have changed there rexes out and are experienced in the swap

Me and two friends swapped a lsvtec for a d16y7 in 7 hours. It was my friends first swap and my second. So anyone should be able to do it in a day if they keep working.
