my d15 has only 30k original miles on it and has just gotten a new head gasket,and while it was apart a new water pump and timing belt, as well as new dist cap and rotor, and upgraded plugs and wires,....should i boost her or swap in a b16......sorry ahead of time if this is the wrong thread, i wasnt sure where to put it

 

i guess what im asking is, where can i get the most hp out of...do to money situation the b16 would not be boosted

 

For the money, the d15 turbo will make the most power. Good luck.

 

Ummm swap in the b16 and gimme that 1.5! I'd say just boost the 1.5. Boost that ---- and if it blows then put the b16 in.

 

If this is your first turbo project, definately boost the D15. You'll have a blast.

 

The D15 will kick the poop outta every B-swap there is minus the $5000 ITR swap.

 

d15 on 10 lbs isnt fast

 

No its not... BUT IT IS faster than a B-swap.

 

not by much...---- it might be slower than a gsr hatch. but yeah the rush of your first turbo kit is amazing, and it only gets better.

 

and on top of being "slightly faster", the daily driven torque is light-miles better.
