Suspension tunning for the strip what works?

My z6 turbo eg ran a 14.1 yesterday with 2.4 60 foot times with slicks. its got kyb's on the front but stock ---- on back. What kind of set-up works best for street and strip? I need to get some traction down and the whole weight tranfer thing is kicking my ass.

You need to learn how to drive. A 2.4 with slicks? Are you even heating them up? What RPM are you launchign at?

i do need to learn how to drive this car. ive only got about 300 miles seat time in it. i was launching at 4k with lunch control. part of it was a shady clutch too but thats getting fixed and i was running 20' tall slicks and stil spinning the hell out of them

with stockers in the rear you are leting all of your weight transfer back there taking away a lot of traction.
if you get some adjustable shox for the rear make sure they are stiff as possible when at the track.

oh yeah, mad smokey burnouts are your friend

You definitely need a good adjustable strut on the back on the firmest setting. The springs need to be height adjustable and between 800lb and 1500lb coils depending on your power level and resistance to a harsh ride on the street. If you don't have enough power, you CAN get too stiff in the rear.

No clutch was cool it was the tires.

Lets talk about what brands you all have worked with and have had good luck with. The car is a 93 si with stock motor and a homemade turbo 14b set up with 10psi and some uberdata action thats allready been tuned.
