Default suspension problem

I have an 89 CRX Si lowered on H&R Sports with Tokico blues. I bought everything brand new. I still haven't installed the rear ones in yet (that's beside the point) but the front ones have been in for about 2 months now. I have noticed that the driver's side has about a 1" gap, while the passenger side has a 2" gap. I'm just wondering what could be causing the passenger side to sit higher than the driver side. Any ideas??

Its possible you have some faulty (weak) springs.. but you may want to double check the spring is sitting correctly in the perch of the strut.
