Suspension Design programs
 
I'm planning on building a cart / sandrail / dune buggy (what ever you'd like to call it )

But i can't figure out how to build the front or rear suspensions systems. I have a brief idea, but nothing final

i've got most of the motor and drive train figured out (i think )

I'd like to make it a pre-runner style, or even some sort of AWD / full time 4WD setup

I rember someone showing a cart they were building, and they said they used ( X ) for a program to help figure out this and that.

Solidworks 08 has a pretty good FEA program

I have a couple for doing 4 link/5 link strait axle setup but that wont help you :-\

how big you going? Motorcycle engine, vw, honda, chevy?

I only ask because I've been llooking at current suspension designs for a smaller motorcycle-engined buggy. Here's a few pictures:
