Suspects steal $65,000 in tires
The theft of a large variety of tires from a Vernon store has police asking the public for tips.
Sometime during the evening of Oct. 24 or the morning of Oct. 25, unknown suspects entered the Kal Tire compound on Anderson Way and stole a large amount of tires and rims that were stored there.
“Investigators advised that the suspects would have had to have a large truck like a four- or five-ton, or a truck with a large covered trailer,” said Vernon RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk.
In all there were 123 tires of various sizes and 28 rims stolen.
