I got an EF wagon just for situations like these.

I was pretty much just jokin about the wife. We've been together 13+ years so showing up with the occasional toy is expected. I can never get her to spend $$ on herself though which makes me feel bad once in a while because I'm always buying dumb ---- and she makes more than me. This thread is now about emotions.

sweet. I got it home. Hydraulics are a bit spongy but brake works good enough for a starting point. Started tearing it down but didnt have much time. Should have some more time to work on it during the week: at least get it stripped down to the frame for rust removal/paint

There's a guy that I know that has a hayabusa engine for 200 bucks. Just the longblock and it's been sitting for awhile so it probably needs a rebuild. I wanted it but Frank wasn't up for bringing it back with him from Oki.

That would be sweet but i'm not richy rich and I bet it needs a ton of electronics, etc to get it running right. I'm just gonna keep my eyes peeled for a bargain motor with some oomph.

Go down the bike wreckers and find a cbr600 motor or similar. 100hp and carbs = easy to install.

Not only that but it will be fast as *****.

Just some inspiration....

Well I got it torn down to the frame with the exception of the rear axle.

Brakes should be easy to fix.

Removed most of the rust spots from the frame, gonna finish that and re-paint with red enamel.

Gotta do some 'glass repair on the seat.

Found some used tires on egay.

Still alot of sanding, painting to do. Looks like it sat outside for a couple years. A good bit of rust but nothing too deep.
