I have a new respect for the the boosted LS. My friend Jay is currently boosting 15-17 (delta-creep variable) with a ginormo Holset off a diesel truck. Stock internals, and so far (about 2 weeks) it taking it like a champ; aside from some HG issues.
This setup combined with S1 gears pulls unusually hard. We are gonna race Sat, and even at my 14psi of B16 SC61 love, I know its gonna be close.

Leed you best get that on tape. I love the LS engine for builds etc. I want to know how long that LS holds up man. Thats alot of pressure on stock internals, but hey... If it works why change it.

ive heard that ls motors take a pretty good beating...i dont know about random strike...hahaha...ofcourse how long would any motor last if u beat the crap out of it...its just b series make power easier than d series motors and thats that...with say an ls/vtec or a gsr motor u can make 300+ at 10 psi with the right turbo...how much boost does it take for a d series to make 300+..usually upwards of 15 psi...sad but true..im going b series...hahaha

Haha, where was everyone?! The one "meet" I actually went to and no one else was there. That's alright, engine's in, up and running, and hotrex is out cruising in the bitch now. I got some pretty good pics I'll post up probably tomorrow.
