the info u r geting is that mostlikely you will loose. power to weight ratios dont lie. yeah drivers have alot to do with it too dont get me wrong but car vs car ull loose
ur 450rwhp in 3500ish lbs car has a 1: 7.8 ratio
his 250fwhp in 2000ish lbs car has a 1: 8
yeah the numbers are close but math doesnt lie. also take into account that he has a better geared tranny for exeleration than your longer gears
and a gsr hatch fwd vs a vr4 awd is a damn good comp. u have a lesser rwd n i was only beaten by a fender what is that 2.5 - 3 ft? if i had suspention to control spin and beter tires i would of come out on top.
and bigger turbo doesnt mean faster is just means more power. power to weight wins period thats why all those sub 10sec muscle cars have crazy power but sub 10sec civics can still be streetable because they dont need large numbers

depending on the driver and the situation im going with the hatch. from a dig i would give you an advantage but from a roll you probably wont touch him. (lol on the other hand I could be way wrong lol)

Sounds like two well worked cars good luck and stay safe.

well depending on what turbo he has, you could be done with the race before he spools his. sounds like your car is going to spool fairly quick. and if he is going with a large turbo he will need a good tuning program and know how to drive to get off the line anywhere as quick as your awd.

just my .02. let us know how it goes.

A built GT42r hatch will be capable of low 10's at the track, with a typical honda owner at the wheel will be running 12s. On the street it wont be able to get out of its own way without serious tire but will smash your car repeatedly on the freeway.

How easily is a GT42R setup on such a small engine? That's a whole lot of wheel to get moving. If you missed it, he is actually installing a larger garrett, bigger than a GT42. I only see that as beeing counter productive as it would take so much to get spooled. I heard no mention of headwork or ANYTHING that would help spool, or higher rev's, etc.

My car is almost back together, should be running this weekend. I'll give these guys a call and see where the car is.
