Supermoto conversion?

1 Attachment(s)
Anyone ever convert a motocross bike to a supermoto setup? From the researching I've been doing it's pretty pricey....like double the price of the bike I'm looking at. lol. Bike is a 98' Zuki RM250 for only $750. Alot of the conversion kits run like 2 grand! Daaaaaaamn! Better off just getting a supermoto bike or going through and doing the conversion? Here's the bike

WTB for PW50

Complete Carberator
Right and Left Brake handle
Stock rear springs
Rear brake cable
Rear muffler section (from black box)
Training wheels
Oil tank
Possibly a new plastics set w/seat

And for my PW80 I need a new chain

I had to make a response, but I have no clue what you're talking about, so........ might as well try to cash in on some parts I need. Thanks for understanding, Squanto.

eh, the 250s are pretty powerful. he wasn't that far behind...

i got 2nd place everytime out of these lines of quads... guy that kept beating me was another 700r raptor with exhaust. those trx450r are a joke both of us beat them easily, and they have little mods like filter/exhaust

you don't understand that the trx450r is supposed to be a race bike, and it revs to extremely high compared to my quad? there are more way than displacement to make power.

we were on hard pack sand, and my paddles actually hurt me against the other raptor because mine are 10" and he had the stock tires on which are 9" and low profile

my brother has a 96 rm 250, its got way to big of jets in it so the power comes in way to late, but you can lift the front tire off the ground at the top of 4th gear :o Its by far one of the funest bikes Ive been on.

the trx450r are for MX not drag racing, that why you never see raptors in gncc or mx racing...if you were using paddle down here you would have slicks by the end of the day...there are so many roots sticking up its not even funny...

acceleration is part of MX racing right...

the yfz450 is supposed to be faster than the raptor... its a 450cc race bike...

well yea, but your talking about 2 diff types of quads in my opinion....the raptor is more for just straight up hauling ass down roads and open trails they have more topend and torqe power then any other stock sport quad...the the 450 quads have better suspension and are geared a lil lower for the tight gncc trails and mx tracks...but hey i was riding a 400ex for a long time and loved its power. i rode it wile my cr250 was having problems now i got my kx 250 love it have had no problems ;D...

i would love to see the scrator on some slicks and droped to the ground that would deff be bad ass....

the 450r ar supposed to have better top end than the raptors

Bottom line, if you have more than 100cc, you have a little penis.

Wanksters.

I used to have an 80cc Kawasaki chassis with a 125cc Honda engine swapped in. That ---- surprised a lot of people and was fun as hell. Ahh... memories...

The TRX450R is one of the slowest 4-strokes. People like them for their price and handling.

P.S I just bought a 4-stroke ;)

you have to do the most work to a trx450r just to get it race ready compared to other 450s...i like them cause they are the best 450 for trail riding cause they aren't so wide....but i do like the new can-am ds 450...suppose to be the fastest of 450s
