I've never seen a supercharger do 30psi boost. Superchargers just aren't up to the task of making serious power in a street car.

M90 is a lot bigger then the rinky dink M34 or M36 that Jackson racing is selling.

Claims 487 horsepower at 7300 RPM's ;)

Re:supercharger vs. turbocharger

Super chargers take power to make power.they are more eficient on low reving engines. They become inefficient at high rpm.Its also a pain in the but to raise boost(you have to change pullys and belts most the time).

The intake charge pressure is greater in a supercharged engine, and not always so in a turbo'd motor. This is because the turbo is mounted in the exhaust stream (obvious).
How do you figure that the intake charge pressure is greater?Psi is psi no matter how its created.CFM on the other hand can be different depending on the size of compressor.

Greater exhaust pressures will make scavenging of the cylinders much harder, thus creating less power.
I dont believe that. The turbine(hot)side of the turbo works by sucking out that gasses out of the cylinders after combustion. The wheels on a turbo opose each other. The compressor sucks the air in and the turbins sucks it out.

I think turbos are more efficient when the engine is properly tuned and the charge air is properly cooled.Think about it.Its creating power from a power source(exhaust gasses)that is present no matter what.

lmao

plently of built SVT COBRAS run 30psi from big roots types.

centrifugals are capable of over 30psi too.
