supercharged lawn tractor *pics and vid*

well, weve been slow at work, so we took the smog pump off the boss's demo car, and got creative...

it shredded the bracket that the pulley was mounted to after about 5 minutes. its currently getting a more fuel friendly carb, and a heavy duty crank pulley bracket. its definetly makes some boost, but we have no idea how much yet.

hopefully more to come.

Sweet ride. It shouldn't bog down anymore when you try to mow over some rocks :)

air pumps dont work well, they dont make any more air when they are spun faster then when spun slow (cant remember the correct term for it). The also take alot of power to turn, looks like fun though.

Non-positive displacement pump? :-\

I've seen that doen on motorcycles before, mostly older twins. How are you fueling?

i have done that before. made some nice wheelies when timed right on a bump or small hill

there is already spekaer wire tied to the governer. we got the new carb, but it hasnt been installed yet. also still waiting on the new pulley bracket. as far as the tach, its non functional, im not sure how it would work. it has the switch on the back for 4/6/8.... i dont know. it wouldnt be there if it was up to me.

i used to do that in grass, bring up the r's and just slam into gear, ride the wheelie till your fronts are down, shift again no clutch and wheelie some more
