Sunroof replacement
 
Ive been wanitng to take out the sunroof for a while now, and have been wanting to make it into a moonroof...anyone got a write-up/pics/ideas on how to do this...anything helps

a moonroof is usualy made out of tinted glass and dosnt nessesaryily have the ability to open. I imagine it would weigh only slightly more then a plug but still give you the ability to look out of your roof. Actualyy I supose you could hinge one so that you could slightly open the back of it to get better air circulation.

get a 93 EX moonroof assembly that should work, ill measure it later

I've got a moonroof out of a 95 ex layin around here somewhere.....ow! my toe found it!

so a 93 ex assembly would work? do i need the rails and everything, or just the piece of glass...

Just make your normal rounds to pick and pull and get one for like 15.00. Your moms going to pay for it ne ways.

ill loo at it tomorrow and compair the 2, i would like to do the same thing and the civic moonrood opens like hte rex's do

Lol I always thought the difference was that moonroofs opened at an angle and sunroofs opened backwards... I'm retarded :)

or the later model accord ex and se have moonroofs, you can snag it and it bolts up with some work.
