Default Summer tires?

Just wanted to know what everybody runs for summer tires. I'm looking at buying some and I think I'm looking to get some drag radials. I'll be spending a lot more time at the track, but I also do a few autox/road race events during the summers, so my time will be spent about 50/50 on each.

I've been looking at either the new Falken Azenis 615's or whatever, the BFG KWD G-force, the Nitto555r and a few others. What hooks the best, and what kind of milage are people getting out of them? I've already had some of the old Azenis on this car and I liked that, but I don't know how the new ones grip in a straight line. Thanks

Colin

I personally am running the old style Falken Azenis.

Seriosuly go hit up shane on MNSCC. He seems like an *** clown, but his big thing is Auto-X and tire tech.

i've loved my Yokohoma ES100's, they've been very good to me. i've also gotten a few others to get em, and they love em just as much. very good dry traction, not so much on the wet.. i remember when it first rained last summer i needed to get to work quickly, all I had to do was full throttle and once i got over 4k i lost traction. lol

i'm gonna need a new set once it really dries up here, the insides are nearly down to the wire

and i would say they're not bad for road racing, there's some twisty's near my house that i hit up late at night some times, and they do well.

I run Falken Azeni 215's [old ones] and I love them.I would think the new Azeni's are nearly as good.

That's not a bad deal. I'm either going with the G-Force TA's or possibly the new Falkens

What kind of 60fts have people run on those azenis tires?
