well got my new clutch in my 88 crx, 4hrs later a stupid bitch tryed to cross 4 lanes of traffic, unfortunately i was there and ran right into side of her . fucked up front passenger side of car severely don't know if its fixable or not, going to place where they towed it tomorrow to see what they say . now the slow process of waiting for the insurance adjuster begins,at least i was at know fault,but what sucks is insurance usually don't pay for any modifications u put into your vehicle,i hope they can fix it because if they total it u only get a fraction of what u really put into it.

thats why you buy it back. the total it for 3K or somthing and they will sell you back the car for 300-600 bucks, then you swap all that ---- on to your new car or part it out. sorry to hear about the wreck though, hope your ok and you get some big money...

if they total it talk to the people at the tow place and tell them u wanna get ur parts off and youll put the stock ---- back on.. theyll let u.. if not ask the insurance people... one or the other will let u. ive seen it many times i drive tow truck..

Yeah, when my eclipse was totalled, the people at the yard said "I could get my CDs and books and stuff". ten minutes later I had my AFC and EGT ripped out and my Greddy Type S and my head unit. they were like you can't take all that but ---- em!

yeah they didnt tow my car away it was off the road. when i got back from the hospital it was still there, so i snagged a couple bunngie cores and zipties and prayed that i hit the light green (radaitor was beyond fucked) and drove it the couple blocks home 
then the tow people couldnt steal my ----...
