I was just going to use the window weld instead of the inserts. I know I should get them but, thats still an extra $39 going towards a turbo kit.

If you can find a body shop around you, try and see if they have any of that body panel adhesive that they'll sell you...i filled mine with that stuff. Dries up nicely, and feels just like a solid poly mount

I'm going to give this ---- a try:

It's very hard to explain to the 75 year old lady at Ace Hardware that you want to fill your motor mounts with polyurethane to stiffen them up to eliminate wheel hop and decrease 60ft. times in the 1/4 mile. I ended up telling her I was installing a windshield.

Why is it pointless? Have you used it?

Oh, yeah when she asked what I was using it for I wasn't sure what to tell her.

I hate it when they ask what you need it for. Liek when I went to Radio Shack to get 10ohm, 10watt resistors. I know what I[m looking for and there is no reason for them to be asking me what I'm using them for. It's not like they are going to have a damn clue what I'm talking about. Go into Ace looking for parts for a MBC............
