stuff in my neck of the woods..
Well, this is a combo thread.
but all the things in it are right around where I live.
my friends G20
with a homemadeturbo setup
he helped me out with a little info and motivation before i went turbod.
The pics of his engine and intercooler seem to be down at the moment.. so i will try to get them and host them somewhere else so you guys can see them too
also, here is a vid of a local guy with an sti doing a few roundies in the parking lot.

there are a few other videos, and i will post some pics when i get them of me pretending to know what im doing working on a 240
the kid with the infinity swapped a sr20det into the 240 that i will post pics of when i get them. it has a sylvia front end conversion.. i think its nice.
and, just because i have pictures.. here are two of my car..

There is nothing under the hood.. just your everyday single cam screamer with mad vTek hp yO!

I just watched that video.. why did that chick scream "That's ------- bullshit!" ?
Also, what was with everyone parading around him and him doing the copyrighted "Vin Diesel leaning on a big *** spoiler lookin all proud" look?

ok.. so. the place i tried to link the pics to fucked up..
which blows, because you cant see my friends turbo setup..
so.. instead i found some pics i uploaded to newbiestuff and here they are.. got bored one day and used my roomies camera
this fender was paint chipped. so a little spray can lovin
for those that notice something odd... this is a console from a 96.. i liked it better than the stockie.. call it jdm if you want and dont poke fun of the red shifter. its a solo short throw and it was like 5 bucks cheaper than the black, and 10 cheaper than the silver.. soo :P

he is running right around 10 psi i believe.
with a chipped ecu and new injectors and a few other things.. no internals i believe.
he used polyurethane and filled the motor mounts. he said that it helped and i did notice that his cars rides kinda hard. i am thinking about doing that also, but i am not sure what is the best to use.. and if it is really worth it.
he said that it helped him. so i might give it a try...
