doubtful, its pretty noticeable the ammount of flex in my ex girlfriends mark 2 with front and rear strut bars and a beefy rear sway was so much damn less than stock, they feel a whole lot different with the bars off and roll bad.

Anybody know a good set, Front and rear, or does front matter mostly?

I already have gc/koni's on my ride (DC4), but I still get roll, and I want to eliminate that. I'm eventually gonna get a rear 22 or 23mm rear sway bar as well. I'm looking for strut bars that resemble like cusco, that sort, don't want something that's necessarily cheap crap, but am not looking to spend that much anyway. It's only sway bars anyway, obivously better material would be better, but I mean it won't make much difference anyway.

Thanks.

its not so much the material its made from, but how its constructed.

You want something that doesnt bend and twist(the ebay ones do, b/c of the joints they have).

a 3point strut bar is even better than a normal, solid, 2 point strut bar.

my car handles really great around corners, and straight line, I dont know if the strut bars plays any real significant role in that. because I have pretty much every upgrade possible in the suspension department. the main issue I had was motor flex that busted up my hood (hense why I decided to get a carbon hood but thats not the subject here so lay it to rest) I now have solid motor mounts which make the car vibrates like a bradley fighting vehicle.

from what some people say, it really does make sense that the bar will help in hard cornering though

I'm sure it *helps* something, but I have a hard time believing anybody can HONESTLY feel a difference. I remember back in the day people used to claim they gained ~5whp by adding a 6" fart can. They only thought it was faster because it was louder.

Does anybody have any road test comparisons showing the performance gains of a strut bar? Like, actual numbers?

Im at work right now, I should be getting home a little early today. I will post pics of the bracing that I have on my car...which is set up for handleing.

my JDM bandwagon...guess you could say that. ive learned alot from these ***** in the past year and a half, and will continue to do what these guys advise me to do. They've been messing with these cars longer than I have been alive...probably you as well.

You yourself dont even own a honda. you owned one for how long...about a year. You speak from no experience. :1
i've owned or drivin Hondas that were bone stock suspension, coilover/shock bracing, spring/shock combo's along with tie bars, and my now my car that i currently am driving. I will post pics when I get home.

The guy that does gymkhana (auto-x) where handling is the #1 thing to do to a car, has a completly stock B16 motor, cusco suspension, 2 upper stut bars in the front, one lower strut bar in the front, 1 rear upper strut bar and 1 rear lower tie bar. he also has some brake upgrades, runs 195/50 neovas and is 10sec faster than everything else on the track.

saying they dont do anything and make no difference makes you sound like a fool Dr. Boost.

You had 1 boosted piece of ---- purple ****** civic that put down an awesome 110whp and you think you're the ----? No, I don't own a Honda car now and I never will again. I've owned 3 Hondas that were boosted which is 2 more than you will ever own and I did all the work myself, unlike you. I've owned more Hondas than I can count and before you moved to Japan you didn't know your *** from a hole in the ground and I'm having a hard time believing anything has changed.

yes. I did read your posts. thats why I said you sound like an incompintant ------- retard.

your also correct. I did own 1 pile of ---- purple civic...which I did do all of the work myself. only thing I didnt do was tune the bitch, and that was because kevin was right there with all of the tools. Why would I spend the $$ on the tools when he has it all right there. that would be retarded. You also forgot about the b20 CRX that I had, then I owned the black hatch I also had. built suspension, only mod to the entire car. suspension.

Now the civic that I now own. boosted. no. I, like you, probably won't have a boosted honda again. My car has a 100% toda internaled B16/ported head. the tranny has a diff and a final drive in it. (which no, i didnt build, it came with the car....which cost me $1350usd) suspension is built, which I did myself, a cusco zero-1 full coilover set-up, spoon strut bars (both front and rear) ITR front lower tie bar, spoon rear lower tie bar, 7 point safety21 (cusco) cage, and feel's fender bracing...and brakes that will stop you on a dime. im also riding on 12lb RNR's. my suspension is top notch. I can hang a corner and the ------ chassis is so stiff it will bring a wheel off the ground....I can jack up one corner of the ------ car and change 3 wheels... I know nothing about suspension though my car is built for handling, auto-x and running the mountains. I guarntee that I would make you look like a fool running through the mountains.
suspension pwns Honda.

im talking to a brick wall...telling me I dont know anything about suspension tuning is like telling JD or xenocron they dont know ---- about tuning....
