Stripping the entire 06 Civic interior for sound deadening **PICS**

This is a long shot but does anyone have a DIY on removing all of the carpeting?

So i got 100 square feet of sound deadening today and began stripping some of the interior. I need some help on how to remove these key parts without breaking tabs. :ohnoes:

Lol the key points to getting our cars em2's and up is the wheel wells. For me it took a pressure washing of the wheel wells and about 8 cans or rubberized undercoating. Once you get rid of ambient tire noise the car rides silent as can be. Lol good luck with that, probably 10x's the work i did for the same end result. Ps if you want a car that rides quiet you should have bought an is300

door sills-pull up, that is all

rear seat back, remove seat bottom (pull up at leading edge, then out) and unbolt

rear side panels, no idea, but probably start by removing window trim and seat. pull on it to find where the clips are, then apply localized pressure.

If you get a FSM it will point out where and what type the clips are, and sometimes where to start pulling/prying to remove.

Why on gods great earth would you go buy a new car to strip it? That would be like finding a chic with implants and having them removed.

Dont say "weight savings" ::)

Just say "I wanna look cool with my gutted interior" ::) ::)

umm.. i believe he is adding sound deadening. NOT removing it. Why not make a nice comfortable car more comfortable? Whats the harm in that? My Brother Dynamat'd his entire interior in his GSR. Nice stock GSR daily driver lowered with tint and silent in the cabin. Seems like an ideal dd to me.

From the looks of it he's putting a system in it and doesn't want his ---- rattling loose like a 16yr old ----- at a truck stop.

All I know is I would never buy a brand new car, and tear the interior apart.

you'd think if you were gonna waste all the time and money to tear apart a new car and sound deaden it...you would have purchased a manual....

The point isn't to have a racecar with dynamat ---- in it and the crispest transmission. It's to have a comfortable quiet dd that doesn't rattle when it gets cold or when the subs hit. Get with it people, not everyone wants to ride by the seat of their pants in some super lightweight 5-speed pocket rocket. The point of that vehicle is different.
