I am without insurance at the time, and I think I may be getting strep again.

I have had it like 3 times now and I know that most times I never used all of the antibiotics prescribed to get rid of it. I can't find them tho.

Does anyone here have any? If so let me know, I'd really appreciate the help. My throat will thank you.

Dont be stupid! Go get some antibiotics for your strep throat. You need to get some antibiotics, usually ampicillin or penicillin. I'd give you some but I dont have any at the moment. Its important to treat your strep throat correctly because you can run into other complications, i.e. heart diseases, arthritis, or rheumatic fever. You need to treat it aggressively because it is relatively contagious. If you give it to a child they can get renal failure from it (rare but it happens).

Try to get penicillin or ampicillin-- 3-4 times a day for 7-10 days. Drop me a PM... I'll try to help you out if you have some other antibiotics. Main point is to finish the antibiotics and dont stop half way. Thats how you get antibiotic resistant bacterias!!!

 

yeah i know, but a trip to an ER is gonna cost me loads.

i talked to my mom, she has 4 penicillin pills, that probably isnt gonna do ----.

I'd hate to spend the money on an ER visit and not even have strep.

 

well you need to have a throat culture taken to determine if you really have it. I would suggest just goind to a free clinic or something if you ahve them in the area.

 

Don't go to the damn ER that ---- is expensive. Make an appointment with a doctors office, or go to one of those urgent care centers I believe those are cheaper. You could always call and ask if they are cheaper.

There's an urgent care center over on 185th and cornell on the left side right before cornell heading to 26.

I haven't been to a hospital in years for myself, driven friends plenty of times lol. I would just buy a bottle of that clhoraseptic and drink that ---- for a few days.

 

If you dont take enough to get rid of it completly, like just enogh to fell better it will come back twice as bad in a couple months. :P

 

yeah i know thats why i had the extra drugs, from the first time, then got it again shortly after, took all of those for sure.
