im in southeast ny, almost directly between nyc and albany in the hudson valley.

yea tune is good, i was having a lean spot issue right around 4 psi, but now my a/f is 11.4:1 in boost, which im happy with. i did drive the road for cops first, this was on my way back, less than 2 minutes from when i drove it the first time, they were driving past me in the opposite direction. my town is very small and these cops were like 22 years old, definately new additions to the 12 or so cops total in the whole town. im sure they think they are awesome after last night.

i once got busted racing my friend... going about 80 in a 50, cops ended up writing a speeding ticket for each of us for 75 in a 50... cost me $120 in fines and 2 pts... thats all i have on my lisence at all

LOL, small towns.. mine has only one cop, the one that was just replaced was dubbed "the town drunk", drank while on the job...

just start start saving cash now its not gonna be that bad, my last 2 tickets cost me ~$2000 including a lawyer and both included driving w/o a license
and if you setup a payment plan with the clerks office it wont hit you as hard. here in arlington VA, as long as you make steady payments(at least 1 per month) you can take as long as you like

I live in Illinois too, no emissions testing, no points, just corn.

If you ever get pulled over, play stupid and do not admit to speeding at all. Even if you're going 150 in a 15mph school zone, as far as you're concerned, you were going 10mph with your hazards on while laying on the horn to ensure no little kids run out infront of you.

And if they ever say they heard your turbo or heard your (anything under the hood) tell them it was something else like your alternator or an exhaust leak. If they ever insist you were speeding around, ask for proof and if they can't provide it, yet still insist you were speeding or driving irresponsibly, thats when you ask for the badge number so you can report them to their commander for harassment.

Even if they have proof, I still wouldn't admit I was speeding, would take it to court and fight it still, either they clocked the guy in the lane next to me or they did not get an accurate reading.

If all else fails, throw a salute out from the chest and pay the fees.

Well where I live in Illinois during the sumer a sub of Chicago we have emissions but down in Champaign( central Illinois) by U of I where I live during the school year they dont have emissions, no inspections, and no noise ordinances

oh im definately going to plead not guilty to all of them. since they each wrote me 2 tickets, there is a better chance that some tickets might get dropped due to an officer not showing up.

accordepicenter- only 2 points? thats not bad. im not really worried about the fines, its just i have 2 cars and i dont feel like having my insurance go sky high at this point in my life. (but i did speed so if it happens ill deal with it).

does anyone in ny know how many points 81 in a 55 is? the incident occured on a state road, the points the same throughout the state?
