they mentioned that the car that plowed those people may have had no headlights on...if that where true... then how ------- stupid are you?? they should lock the ------- driver up

Doesn't matter if the driver of the white car didn't have headlights on. Those people are stupid for standing in the middle of an open highway while people are doing smoke shows. :l

If no cars or coming, or at least you don't think there are, whats wrong with standing in the road? Have you never stood in a road before? Do you use bridges or tunnels to cross all roads you come to? I doubt they had lawnchairs set up in the middle of the road, they just came out into the road to watch the drivers take off. They were probably admiring the boiling rubber in the road.

it shouldn't have happened, but stand at the start of the race and wander onto the highway, you are just asking to get hit. sucks to be the guy driving the mercury, he will see that in his head for the rest of his life.
