Re:STREET RACING!!!

We just need to keep the topic on track thats all!
Hehe, no pun intended. :P We used to have an abandoned road we would go to. We would meet at the Chevron station and head out from there since it was only about 1/2 mile away. After a while people just stopped showing up at the gas station. Cops didn't ever bug us because it wasn't that big and obvious.

For the anit-illegal street racers:

This racing was done on an unused road that was never used by anyone except for us. A track isn't any safer than this street. It is about 5 miles long and copletely straight for about 4 miles of it. Thre is also NOTHING around it and no streets.

Thank you

Re:STREET RACING!!!

street racing is Dead and has been dead for a loooong time now! And for good reason. I think you should bring your cousing up to PIR when Jeff and them go and see some really fast cars.

Re:STREET RACING!!!

I've never been to a real street race, or to a track to watch drag racing, but I think that street racing is much more exciting than track drag racing. and I personally don't give a ---- how fast a car with a parachute and wheelie bars can go because I'll never see it on the street, I might, however, see a kid on a bike with training wheels with a trash can tied to him with string pretending to be a dragster.

I find racing at the strip more exciting though.
Everyone looking at ya when you line up to go.
And you know after the race you gonna have your timeslip..so you wanna do yo best.

Here in Ca. you can only spot a maxima with 5 cholo's in it at the street races. All the real racers are at the track. And it's funny how those same 5 cholo's in the maxima never show up.

Re:STREET RACING!!!

if you never been to the tracks your messing out. Tracks can be as fun as Street, the tracks more calm

no body gets arrested, you don't have to worry everytime you race, u can launch without looking at your rear view for cops waiting for you to do something illegal, and it can be fun! (especially wensday night drags here when you can come in and race!)
you can get timesheets etc while at the track.

street is for rep, organize ones get pretty crazy. both are fun, but street has it's price.............

Re:STREET RACING!!!

I have to admit that the street races are fun, there's something about going from spot to spot, looking for the ones that are poppin' or just goin' to the other spot cause the cops busted one, but it's not too fun when foos start pulling out their straps cause they can't accept the fact that they lost. If you minus the dumb fucks that bring their guns, and them ganstas that start shootin' up their gang signs and causing trouble, it nice and fun. I haven't been to the track yet, but I do plan on going should be pretty fun. Maybe I'll drag my heavy ass 4dr family car :P.

Re:STREET RACING!!!

I think the track is cool and all but nothing beats the street. Its all real cars. Not talking down on lopez and those guys because there cars are ------- sick, but you cant drive that on the street. The Philly scene is still popin but not like it was. I like the street more because if someone is talking ---- you dont have to be like yeah wait til track night, its like run that ---- know. I'm not about running on streets that has non racers on it. I dont think you should put anyones life on the line that dosnt want to be there. Plus the track cost money, If your doing a home made kit you dont have money(well I dont) so why would I pay like $20 bucks to get like three runs at a track. Sorry for the long ass post.
