This is just too crazy. Why do people worry so much about how other people live their lives. I know a couple gay people and to tell you the truth one of them is a good freind of mine. I think we are talking about gays who act all fruity and ----. The freind that I have is cool as hell and funny as a mothafucka. He talks like normal and acts normal. Who really gives a ---- about how other people live?? If you have time to worry about how other people do their thing then you need to reevaluate your live.

JD your frogetting by intorduceing special laws and ---- they are pushing onto unfair rules for us to live. there personal life is there own deal i could give a ---- less but as soon as it affects me then it crosses the line.

Exactly. You're also forgeting that it is moraly wrong and unethical. It even says so in the bible. Why should there be a gay community? Why should we have gay schools? Why should we have gay shopping centers? We shouldn't.

I also think that by having these "special stores" and such we are opening a door that otherwise wouldn't have been opened for our kids. Now that gays are so accepted and have special places to hangout it creates a thought in our youths minds that maybe they should be gay because it is ok. They think that maybe they should be gay because it is so widely accepted. I would rather it not be an option for my kids and have them live a normal life without the influence of gay communities and schools.

I dont think this is about being straight or gay, this is about how F@$KED up our public schools are. The issue of New York having a seperate school for "weird" kids so they dont have to learn how to get along in society just kills me. What are these kids going to do after they graduate? Go to "weird" college, get jobs in "weird" companies, live in "weird" communities? I say weird because its not about gays or any one group of people, its about all of us getting along as a group. The schools need to teach the wierd kids to be a little more normal and the violent kids to be a little more tolerant of others. That way we can have a well rounded society and not this freak fest we have now.
Don,t even get me started on the education factor. Public schools are a joke, they teach nothing useful after about fourth grade. Basic math and grammar skills are about the only things most people have after graduation. If you don't believe me watch Jay Walking on the tonight show. Grown adults that can't tell you what planet they live on or how many moons it has (I am not making this up, he asked that question at a college graduation and the girl didn't know the answer).
The fact that the principal is worried about what that kid is wearing and not the real issues shows you how far they have there heads up there asses.

so is lying. so is coveting. so is wearing clothing of mixed fibers. so is so much as touching a woman while she's on the rag. so is having a goatee. there are a lot of things in the bible that are pretty ------- ridiculous. where are you going to draw the line? oh, i see, draw the line where it suits your beliefs and ignore the rest.

you say that like it's a bad thing. it never occurred to you that maybe 6 billion and growing exponentially is a bad thing? we're currently at about half this planet's carrying capacity. current population growth extrapolations predict that we will hit carrying capacity by the year 2049 or so. i don't know about you, but i would rather have a few gay people around (who i have the power within me to ignore if it offends me so damned much) who dont' have kids to even things out than hit 12 billion and have 3/4 of the planet dying of starvation and plagues.

i agree with the original post though. if gay pride is alright, what's wrong with straight pride?
