Storm that just ripped through town....(pics)
 

So this fucker just blasted through a few hours ago, I found some pretty badass pics on a local news site. Tornado/funnel clouds in the area, 60 mph winds, hail, the whole nine yards. It went from blue sky to black in like 2 minutes, and the storm rolled passed us in about a 1/2 hr. I was outside smoking and watching this roll in, within 2 seconds of the sky turning black every single tornado siren in the city went ------- crazy.

edit: just noticed that the first pic is the sign out in front of a catholic high school that reads "today matters" just seems a little strange.

on a side note, earlier today a smaller storm rolled through and a ------- road construction sign (that wasn't sandbagged/cinder blocked down to begin with) went flying down the drivers side of our tahoe and scratched/dented the ---- out of the whole ------- thing. :3

So a power pole about 1/2 block south east of us got struck by lightning and blew out a transformer. I just went out for a smoke and realized i must be just on the edge of a power grid. I currently live on a corner lot and of the 20ish houses I can see to the south, east, and west of me none of them have power, and there are no street lights right now, myself and everyone north still has power, guess I lucked out there.

yep I close on it on the 23rd. The house I currently live in is in town on a corner lot though.

Yeah that ---- came through Seymour In Got got a pic on my phone while I was at work, This is what it looked like in my State
