storing slicks?
i bought an almost brand new pair of slicks but by the looks of things i dont know if ill make it to the track this season
i did some reading and came up with this for storing them dont use plastic to prevent moisture use a blanket keep off ground to prevent flat spots release all air pressure keep away from heat there was also something about not keeping them in too cold of temperatures can any one specify on that is there any chance they can make it through the winter and still be usable if any one has any thing to add pleas do |
Re: storing slicks?
store them on a board with no aiir in them on there sides in a normal temperature/humidity environment (Really cold. isnt good for them if outdpoors it wil ---- them up) ... If you can... Inside.

hmmm
how about on a piece of card board in my closet covered by a blanket? (shouldn't get too cold even with the window open, or hot when the heat is on) also can i store one on top of the other? or will that cause flat spots on the side of the bottom one? (separated by another piece of card board) thx for the help big daddy |
