Stolle's got boost

i finally have a turbo on my car its not pretty and its not perfect but it works and i like it! i used a ford probe intercooler and turbo (rhb5) stock gated at 7 psi hf manifold and adapter plate. i made everything from scratch i used steel bake line for oil line and brake fittings for the distribution block which work very well. the adapter plate is the one i made for managment i used dsm 450's and turboedit charge piping was tricky because of the intercooler (it sucks) we got lucky and found a turbo saab at the junkyard and used a lot of the charge piping from that, and radiator hose :) unfortunatly i had to sacrifice a screen window for an air filter.
i was on a budget and i didnt have much money to do this with i ended up spending around $125 on brake line, fittings, oil and coolant thats all i spent pretty good i think everything else i had laying around..
thanks go out to shawn and rick without you two i would not have been able to do this...

cliff notes: stolle put a turbo on his car real cheap heres some pics.

close up of the front end you can kind of see the intercooler back there

the pimp exhaust 2 glass packs 2.25" pipe its nice and quiet, im eventually going to get 2 tail pipes to make it look like stock Si exhaust sleeper style

gauge install and the odd ball POS oil gauge the other 2 are auto meter ultra lites

the car is so quiet when you get on it all you hear is the turbo spool and then the tires squealing then you look down and your like "oh crap yo im goin 80" :P

looks like a pretty nice set up but one question, does that intercooler get alot of flow there, just doesnt look like it to me from the pics.

i figured someone say somthing about that, tell you the truth i have no idea but it works, about 3/4 of the intercooler is exposed so i think its fine i have had this goin for about 2 months now with no problems...

Looks like you need some clamps on those oil lines. Other than that it looks great. :y

Re: Stolle's got boost

very nice. the only thing I would change would be to paint those hose clamps up front back. then it would be sleeper. 8)

pretty bad ass though.

Hmt all the way, one question though did you use alot of jbweld and if so did you write hmt on the oil pan in it? I dig it and i like the use of mainly junkyard stuff.

Re: Stolle's got boost

Looks damn good!! 8) My only concern is the intercooler. It doesn't look like it's getting enough cool air.
