I'm not sure what the insurance company is gonna do... they'll probably say it'll take xxxx.xx amount to get it back to stock, so we can either have a shop do that for you or just give you the money and you can take the car as is.
If that's the case, I may be inclined to take the car and do the work myself, but I have no idea what shape the engine is in.
