I cant decide if i want to b00st my b18a1 with 170k or buy a JDM B16a swap for my 93 integra..

price the parts to build it and fill the block or just a rering and brg. b16 woulnt perform near as well as a turbo ls. you could run 12s for 1600 easy, as long as its done right.

Id personaly run a boosted LS over a NA B16.

do a compression and leak down test to see how the engine is for boost, if it needs a rebuild then just buy another b18 longblock....they are cheap.

1600. Im not sure that would be enough to do everything right imo. Your goin to have to upgrade the clutch. have you done maintence on that b18? If the motor already is tired throwin boost at it isnt goin to make it happy.

The motor appears to be in great shape... It doesnt smoke at all.. It doesnt burn any oil. it has
185 compression across the board... |
