is everybody on here still running stock driveshafts?

if so what kind of power are you putting down?

 

Its not just the power, its mainly the clutch/slicks you are running.

 

grip will own ur axles
if ur running street tires u will probably never have a problem

 

depends what car you're talking about obviously

 

I was talking to a guy that has been rebuilding cv axles for 15 plus years and he was telling me that all those aftermarket axles are rip offs. He said you can add more mass to the actual shaft but your still going to snap them @ the ends cause all you can do is harden the cage, there just isnt enough room in the end caps to add mor mass

 

thats where the aftermarket ones break

 

ive never had a prob with stockers, yet ive never ran sicks, and if i did im sure i would break them.

i plan on breaking a fwew sets/ trannies with the new setup

I would like to run slicks too.. i am just worried about snapping my driveshafts at the track and being stuck like chuck..

but to tell you the truth i think i will just run the stock ones and slicks and stop being a -----..if they break they break..

just wanted to get some input
