The fees where not for the direct deposit. If you had the "Tax Preperation Fees/use of turbo tax fees" paid using your return rather than paying them right then. I got hosed with the same deal, but will still use turbotax again next year.

Well, after 3 months I got my state taxes!

The state took my check and sent it to the local courthouse, because they though I still owed on some tickets. Well, the tickets were paid and when I called, they said "sorry, you should get it in about 12 weeks"

Yeah that's what I'm saying. I didn't have to pay to file mine with turbo tax. Go to irs.gov and go to efile. Then go to the free filing places and click the link for turbo tax. When it is linked from the irs website it's free. You don't have to pay anything.
