state ref!

i got pulled over for a modified exhaust(hyper medallion) when i was gonna jump on the freeway... now they made my pop my hood and allt that BS... so now i got to go to state ref. i'm down to take off my turbo kit but should i take off the oil feed and return? its the stealhmode kit... it would be better to leave it on cuz i can the whole turbo kit off within 2-3 hours... but i rather leave the oil line on so i can just put it back on... tell me what you guys think i should do... thanks. oh yea and i hate sarcastic ass cops... :7

leave the line on. you have a restrictor on it right? close it all the way. if you don't have one get one from stealthmode for 15$.

You can't leave your oil return.. it'll just spray all over the place!

The easiest method would be to just plug your oil return with anything you have laying around that will work, and see if you can screw something into the line to keep oil from coming out and keep your oil pressure up. If that's not possible then you will have to remove your block fitting and just put the stock oil pressure sender back in the stock location.

Your in CA i assume?
Your car must be COMPLETELY stock to pass. (powertrain wise) I would take off all the lines/hoses/ plug the pan just to be safe.

The only fun part i see in a stock car is the suspension. i like how everyone can fly throught speed bump and dips :8

i'm in the process of getting inspected because of the turbo kit.
Car is bone stock now.
I failed the first time on the sniffer, but visual and sensor checks passed.
I changed a few things and now I need to get a pre-test.

Put everything to stock and get it pre-tested somewhere else before you see the ref.

when i had to drive around with my tapped oil pan, I just found a bolt and lodged it in there and then put gasket sealer around it and it works wonders ;)
