another email-
Hi, basically it's not worth shipping the racks and equipment, it'd be cheaper to source some closer to your location. Basically you would apply for the business license in your state, and simply change the contact info on the accounts for e-mail and ebay. We run out of a fairly small building some things we can keep outside like the rear-ends. About 2000sq/ft would be a good size, I'd always get as big as you can afford, there's always money to be made renting the space for people storing cars motorhomes etc if you have extra, at least here. Profit can vary quite a bit, being we don't have a house I have been using my write-offs to the max so I don't look that good..on paper. You can get swaps that everyone wants and sell them for premuim, or you can sell the stuff cheaper and move it faster. I only have enough money to work with for about 1 big container, so I usually have to sell most of it before I can get another one. Basically with about $150-$160K I think you could buy the business and have enough money to keep enough stock rolling and do better than I do. I go thru a 40ft container about every 2 months, and could do better if I had more to work with, as it's about 5 weeks from when I place a order to when I get it. IE if I had twice the cash to work with I could make about 2x the money. Right now I probably make around $2K month after paying everything. I'm really torn with selling it, but I'm just not set up with the rest of my life to be able to keep it. It's fairly easy work, unloading the container and shipping is probably the hardest part, sometimes we take the engines out of the clip which is some work, but isn't bad with a forklift.
We're probably going to relocate somewhere else and buy a home outright, then my wife can teach and maybe I will do car repair or welding. Basically at this price the business name, know-how, ebay and email accounts, and exclusive supplier rights are included. I will be selling off the remaining inventory and at that point the next incoming container will be routed to you and you'll pay for it. My forklift, racks, tools, testing equipment, computer, office( I made a heated portable small office) obviously aren't worth shipping which is why I wouldn't ask the same price as what I would locally. I haven't really tried advertising it, I really want someone who is actually an enthusiest and win do good with it, not some fatcat that doesn't know anything about it who's going to buy it and hire a bunch of immigrants to do the work. Anyway let me know what you think I'll talk to you tomorrow.

I dont know I heard the rumor mill for years and pricing hasnt really changed so supply must still be there maybe hmotors supplier is runnin low. I noticed certian importers in so cal just have better connections hence there pricing. Soken charges 250 for d15b sohc vtec and sohc zc's. Hmotor i think is 500 or somethin in that range. From the cost he is charging for the business sounds liek a great deal. I would ask for invoices in total gross/net sales for atleast a couple months out of the year.

I don't really see that happening. I mean for how many years b16's were how many models they came in. Maybe the more scarce stuff like the type r's and smaller production run models of cars. SOKO is cheaper cause they have there their main location right in JP so their not buying their ---- from someone else like hmo hence their prices which are double.
