I had a starion intercooler modified to have the outlets on the sides. I had a friend do the aluminum welding but when I went to pick it up he put some smaller pipe outlets on it. My charge piping is 2" (from turbo to intercooler and intercooler to throttle body) and the outlets on the intercooler are 1.5". Is this too small, will it cause problems?

To small, go with two inch at least, two and a half would be best.

 

he made them smaller than stock. stock is like 1.75". go with at least 2". 2.5" is a little hard to get on the end tanks of the starion. the best place is where the stock hangars are.
