The i- can't keep up with engine acceleration in a slow 300 whp RSX until top of 4th gear, it's basically useless.
Tell Mr Randy to go 92-95; no OBD2 bullshit, much LESS expensive, acres of underhood room. 90-93 Integra is my preferrence (OBD1 conversion is trivial), but he can do whatever he likes. Since the cars weigh a lot less he'll go faster for any given whp. If he needs any specialty wrenching farmed out we'll kick it to Wes, but frankly there isn't much you can't do for him or that he shouldn't learn to do himself.
If he's got a spare minute, he should cruise out with me to Morganton on Thursday; I wire the resistor box on the GT42R'd EP3 and tappity-click it down the road. He'll take a shine to the guys at BRMS, they have a showroom full of top notch ---- they have buy ins for and sling at web prices, and a couple interesting cars.
