im thinking of running the top one.. in my new setup... he says they come with lifetime warrantys...

i saw that mani a few days ago on ebay, wonder if it's any betta, they seem to be making a lot of money with the crap they sell, maybe they put some money back into the product.

You would think that they would get the hint and start manufacturing a product that doesn't break so easily...

These new designs do look great.. but most all of SSautochrome's stuff LOOKS great, they just suck unfortunately.

Does anyone have a link to that H-T thread where a new one broke? I would like to see it.

Watch out, some dildo will come in here preaching to you about how they changed and they are a good company and it's ok to sell ---- products as long as you don't make them yourself. ::) There will always be stupid people in the world. I'm trying my hardest to share space with them, but sometimes it pisses me off that I have to be attached to the same food chain. :-\

Heh yeah but these new ones have more weld points and joints to make them fall appart quicker... I mean stronger :P Seriously, when will these guy's go out of business. It seriously angers me to see them come out with more crappy products.

Haha didn't cover mine ;) Well ok maybe it would have I just didn't feel like getting one more of those headache manifolds, even though the new shiney stainless would have looked good for the 5 minutes of run time before it turned ---- brown. :P

Well, i saw the one for the sr20, adn it looked like a step up from teh older ones. Thicker flange and larger tube size and wall thickness. And it had a lifetime warrenty, and i dont remember seeing any fine print. I think my buddy is gonna buy it, so well see whta the warrently actaully covers. Still kinda skeptical, because the price is still cheap. So yeah, they must be being welded by little asain boys still to afford to sell them that cheaper, cause i know in teh US labor aint cheap... :-\

my friend had a ssauto junk mani laying around and im like eh i duno ---- it so i bought a buncha exhaust heat wrap to wrap that ---- so im not embarrased when he pops the hood.

my old style SSAuto hasn't broke yet and i've been using it for about 9 months, but i also had all the welds retigged with some "super missle" rod and braced it to the block.

Mine lasted 7 months of hard abuse, and is still in one piece with the new owner for well over a year... And to think i used to spray it with a hose to cool it down so i could work on little ---- all the time, maybe thats the secret :-X
