im temped to give a smart ass remark, so i will......

well, maybe not today. Dude i would just brace it if it really does tend to crack. Not that i think they make good products but to save you from having to weld the mani and a S load of headaches.

Well I would recommend you do a search on this website for ss-autochrome, ssautochrome, ss-autocrap, ssautocrap.. so on so forth. I have these issues come up all the time in the Forced Induction forum, just look around and you'll see what other people have done - no i can't remember anything off the top of my head; I wouldn't be caught dead sporting one of those bombs.

damn.. why would you do something like that... You dont know where the hell that turbo came from... for all you know some blind taiwanese kid put it together with his feet. for 2 cents an hour.

I know the feeling man, I just bought a t70 from another seller, that was made by ssautochrome, but I'm trying to look at the bright side of it, if its seized I can try to use the compressor side to hybrid my t3... but I only heard that the the nut that hold the compressor wheel will fall off, loctite/tighten/loctite... ;D

I'd weld the compressor wheel to the housing, I heard these turbos tend to bust the bearings and seize if you let them spin freely.
