Re:SS AUTOCROME LOL
^^ that one is because he cut the ------- thing off and very shitily welded it back on. And look!!.... no brace ::)
How the ---- do people expect a $100 tubular manifold made with thin material to be able to hold that dead weight at high temps... Takes 2 hours to make a nice brace to completely support the turbo on it own, manifold is great for the money unless you can make one yourself |
Re:SS AUTOCROME LOL
yeah the welds are horrible on that thing! no wonder it broke off like that

Re:SS AUTOCROME LOL
It always amazes me how people will defend such a piece of ---- product as if it was the user's fault of why it broke. ::)

Re:SS AUTOCROME LOL
look at the pic again there is a brace ::)

There's always an excuse. I read that thread on HT and he said he had it braced to the block and all the other bullshit you gotta do to those manifolds but people still like to defend a piece of ---- |
Re:SS AUTOCROME LOL
My log manifold that I made myself would hold my entire engine up. I could pull the motor out of the car by it. That manifold is a pile of ----. SS autocrap is sad and you shouldn't defend then in anyway. Any product that needs to be modified to work to begin with is a peice of ---- and shouldn't be sold. Do you buy struts and have to brace them to not snap off your control arms? No because they were designed to hold the weight.

Re:SS AUTOCROME LOL
That brace would have done nothing using the steel in that "direction" meaning parallel to the ground would do nothing.
