Probably srt-4....i think they come about 300 - 320 hp stock, SL is only about 220 - 230...

I have the SL.. I want to do a turbo conversion, but i could really use some money first lol...in time in time...

Well i just got a dodge stealth es for 300 bucks and i know for damn sure it isnt anywhere close to a srt4 but they have alot more potential than a srt4. Althought they respond fairly well to boltons maybe with the long tube headers a test pipe pulley and intake and exhaust would make it a fairly good race. Or you could just bolt on a tt kit or a big single and an srt4 wouldnt have a chance >:D

I think a vr4 and a srt4 would be a pretty close race... side stepping the sled at limiter might get a good jump. But the SL would get raped, I think there are a few mini-vans that could smoke the SL.

As jeff said from a dig vr4 from a roll drivers race. And the sl yeah despite being 700-800 pounds less than the vr4 it will still get left behind. Whats the curb weight on a srt4 anyways it cant be much less than the sl.

I used to have a 91 3000GT SL, not a bad car, heavy and def expensive to upkeep and ----, but fun...untill the DSM gremlins got into it and I ended up selling it :'(

I watched a vr4 at the dragstrip, the guy was trying all night to break a 15 and couldnt do it. as much as i dislike neon's i think the srt-4 would walk all over a vr4.

Yeah only prob is those shitty little tdo4's only like to hold 16 pounds to redline but in the midrange will make 21-22. Either way they have potential if you have patience and either some mechanical skill or alot of money. Ill have my hmt stealth project up tonite or so ;D

Ya I knew a few guys who had them cranked up to 18-20ish psi with a nice set of exhaust, pulleys, intake and really loud annoying bov's.. They were ok, hard to beat out of the hole, but easy to catch up to.

Both were in the 12's.. From a stock standpoint they are pretty gutless though, I really dont think I've seen a stock one even get a 13 second time slip. I think Beau raced his dads and got like a 15 something haha..
