SRT-4 fell through, guess I'm keeping the hatch...new ride ideas

Like it says, wanted to wait until my fiance got back from Germany to go down and get the srt-4, but I stopped in yesterday and they sold it. :'( So it looks like I'm gonna end up keeping my 89 hatch for a little while longer. In the mean time, how can I improve the ride quality of the car? I have skank2 c/o's over tokico 5-way adjustable shocks, and even with it's monstrous curb height with these dookie 17" wheels it still rides like a bouncing brick. :P I'm thinking of ditching the c/o's completely and just buying a set of Tein S-tech springs and I'd like to drop to a 15" wheel and a 50 series tire, but only if it'll improve the ride. A heavier car might help out some, and the roads where I live definitely aren't the greatest. What's a good setup that can lower my curb height and still keep a more wrx-feeling ride quality? At the same time I don't want to end up with 3" gaps between the wheels and the fenders, so give me some ideas here. I'm getting tired of driving around in a bouncy tuna can that feels like it has hydro's for a suspension. :1

If this stuff works out, maybe I'll keep the car a while longer and take out a small loan to finish off the little stuff and build another boost build...this time with a built LS/vtec block. 8)

skunk2 coilovers=your problem

Want baller stuff go with the koni race stuff. Its pricey but the car I rod in with them was just a blast

If your budget based go with some ground control coilovers

my 17's actually ride pretty good on the highway and around town. the only issue i think i have is blown rear shocks :-X im thinkin about picking up some tokico blues and putting on my cheap ass coilover kit... but then again i might hold out and build a motor first............

Sounds like you know what you have to do, so get to it.

Ditch the 17's, pick up some real S-techs or a similar spring, and get some 15's with a 50 series tire.

ground controls are by far worth the money. Eibach springs are a huge company that is respected for a reason and why ground control uses them in their kits

I like sprint springs has well but the ground controls have been my fav
