The reason NOS works so well is that the nitrogen and Oxygen disassociae at like 1200F or something higher then anywhere else in the engine except at the front of the combustion front. This really helps to control the explosion and make sure its nice even and CONROLLED. Plain O2 would make the explosion very violent and eneven if it went mixed EXACTLY.

That being said, go for full 100% O2, HUGE shot and make a video. I love videos that make me laugh.

I will try it. As soon as I complete my DIY wide band O2 PCB and hook up the EGT.
We are talking minute quantites of O2 here brother.

The only way that would work would be to introduce the oxygen under a liquid state. Like the spaceships. But I wouldnt be too thrilled of having a bottle at 3000psi in my car though. :P

Nope, it's actually around 550' F. The Nitrogen and Oxygen seperate at that temp, and thus add to the o2 content of the Air. As said before no2 actually cools the intake charge due to rapid evaporization. Putting 02 into the intake ( I thought of this years ago) actually adds way to much without cooling enough, and will burn extremely hot and melt everything. Your motor won't last 5 seconds.

Do Not do it, it's dangerous, stupid, and won't work. There have been threads on this before, look around the internet and learn what you're dealing with, before you mess up your self.

I was always under the impression that The reason why we use NO2 was cause the Nitrogen "cushions" the explosion, which enables you to run more power with out blowng up your motor.

if you really wana go getto, get a can of whip cream, some and some tubing.place one end of the tup in intake and the other over the whip cream nozzel, then when your drving, hold the can upright(so no cream comes out) and spray away.
I thought of this once while using the cream on my girl.

why don't you go and try that?
