Sprint PCS customers read this

On oct 1st Sprint raised their SMS messaging rates from 10 to 15 cents. This is a material change in your contract, thus allowing you to opt out of your contract with no charges.

Just call *2 on your phone and talk to a representative about it. They know what you are talking about, tons of people are already doing it.

If you have a SMS plan, they will tell you that it doesn't effect you. I am getting conflicting information on that, so just call and give it a try.

Do not make any account changes or pay any bills. This would be considered an agreement to the new terms.

This has been a lot of places online, but I did not see it here.

Here is a good thread about it
engadget article

I remember getting a letter from them a while back about this, I'm month to month now and still have my super old plan that includes unlimited vision so I'm staying at the moment :6

suppose I should clear this up. This is only if you want to drop your service.

You can however use this as leverage for something else. I got 500 free SMS messages per month for free.

Some people have used the leverage to get 20% discounts on bills ect.

You can call hookers on a sprint phone. I am also pretty sure that they have some sluts working the call centers. Just call and ask them if they can get you some hookers.

Does Sprint do the thing with Dropped Calls still? I used to call up 20 times a month through that automated dropped call thing and save $10 a month ;)
