They do make a billet alum. setup, but its ridiculously priced for how easily it could be HMTed.... Mine will be a homemade jobby if I go that route later... I believe the setuop is like 500 (with 2 pumps)... COuld be wrong... Nope:

Merely to prove a point that the 4088 IS spinning at Idle... About the same as my other snail I might add... I dont expect it to be much (MAYBE 300 rpms) more laggy at all.... People forget its not a b16 trying to wheeze a big ass snail on its very top RPM range... I have well over a nother .5 Liter working for me. The way the old snail came on was ridiculous... This one will be A VERY NICE. I hope to have it ready to rape on the street this weekend, and registered next week. that tilton control valve sort of sounds like the ---- that they have built into the clutch line in evos.... i couldnt dump the clutch. i would have to ride the clutch for launch but through the 1/4 it would slip everytime in shift

SO had to pull off the GT4088 as the seals were fucked and put back on my Original snail.... but its all good... That meanss all I have to do is get the AVCR all setup, and its ready for the track. The new tranny shifts flawlessly, The two-step pisssed off my neighbor enough to where he was yelling out the window to shut that ---- off... And I drove it as little on the Big ass MnHs in the rain........ Not a really good idea, but I couldnt help it O0
SHes healthy as ever (actually MORE healthy). Ross and I gang raped it and got it dissasembled and put back together this afternoon... I need to adress a ABS issue, other than that... I hope its dry for a COUPLE minutes at some point this weekend... HAHAHHAHA Im readyu for the track... Wanna see what it runs in STREET legal trim on BIG boost/ race gas...... |

Its ready. I drove (beat) it for most of the day yesterday...
Ross and I filled her up with 10 gallons of 114 and setup The AVCR... I would have taken it today but it looked as if its going to rain.... Car runs great. Brakes work good, and Those M&Hs are incredible..... The Tilton valve is weird, but DOES work... You can REALLy feel it under power shifting fast...I think I can go up to the middle pilll for it as it slips quite a bit. I dont think it needs to slip as much as it is... But it works. Im about to go crawl downstairs and change the tranny fluid in it (This is the tranny we rebuilt). It was just nice driving it... I think the tranny may last a bit longer with the valve in it. Track times soon to come.
